About Evergreen

Evergreen Apartment Group currently consists of a portfolio of eight apartment communities in Delaware and Maryland. All properties have been acquired autonomously by the members of the Wolfgang Family, who have successfully owned and managed market rate apartment complexes since 1978. Evergreen Realty, Inc., a Delaware corporation, was founded in 1985 by Steven L. Wolfgang to provide professional property management, maintenance and construction services to the growing portfolio of Wolfgang Family properties in and around New Castle County, Delaware.


Another phase of growth and restructuring was achieved when Evergreen Realty, Inc. rebranded itself as Evergreen Apartment Group, Inc., a new Delaware corporation. The current principals of the company are Kevin M. Wolfgang, President and Chief Executive Officer, Gregory D. Wolfgang, Chief Financial Officer and Chairman of the Board, and Lauren J. Wolfgang, Esq., General Counsel.


Evergreen is acknowledged as one of the most respected, recognized and innovative property management companies in the region. The family values that form the roots of the organization are comprehensive throughout the company, extending to the service and care provided to both residents and employees. The company has a well-earned reputation throughout the multifamily real estate industry of integrity and performance. This was evidenced in 2008 when Evergreen was honored as one of the fastest growing companies in Delaware, being designated as a “Gazelle” company by the State of Delaware Economic Development Office.


Evergreen and its subsidiaries are actively engaged in the ownership, management, development, design, and construction of multifamily real estate. The company is staffed with a team of property management professionals, highly skilled maintenance technicians, and a variety of trade specific construction personnel. Evergreen utilizes the experience of the principals and dedicated professionals, intensive management practices, strategic technology partnerships and intimate knowledge of sub-markets to realize outstanding operational performance at its properties. Evergreen focuses on value-add investment opportunities. An example was the company’s purchase of Hampton Walk Apartments, a 370-unit property in New Castle, Delaware. The company has a track record of success “turning around” properties, such as Hampton Walk. To accomplish this the company carries out the renovation and redevelopment of the physical asset, launches intense and sustained property management efforts, delivers outstanding customer service and works tirelessly to engage the surrounding community so that the rejuvenated complex can be positively reintegrated and repositioned into the community.
