Britt Hernandez
Chief Administrative Officer
As Chief
Administrative Officer of Evergreen Apartment Group, Britt
Hernandez oversees all back-office functions within the
organization, establishing administrative objectives, policies, and
practices which allow the company to maintain an efficient and
effective operation. Britt also works closely with CFO Gregory
Wolfgang to oversee the financial operations of the
company.
Britt joined
the company in 2008, in conjunction with a major phase of growth
within the organization. A newcomer to the multi-family industry,
Britt brought a new perspective to the company and assisted in
establishing a back-office operating platform that would help to
prepare the company for continued growth. Prior to joining the
Evergreen team, Britt studied Accounting, Leadership and Management
at Cecil College and spent several years as Controller for a local
publishing company. Her business experience and knowledge of
corporate operations have assisted in developing a corporate office
that provides exceptional support and leadership to the
organization. Britt also
holds several
industry credentials, including Certified Apartment Manager (CAM)
from the National Apartment Association (NAA) and the Certified
Occupancy Specialist (COS & COSA) and Tax Credit Specialist (TCS)
credentials from the National Center for Housing Managment
(NCHM).
Britt has been
an active member of the Delaware State Apartment Association (DAA)
since 2008, serving on several committees and as Board Secretary
from 2014 to 2016. The DAA is a non-profit trade organization
representing apartment owners/managers who operate close to 30,000
rental units in the State of Delaware and is an Affiliate Member of
the National Apartment Association. She has been honored with
several awards for her service, including 2011 Volunteer of the
Year and the 2016 President’s Award. Britt also serves as
bookkeeper for the Apartment Angels
program.
