Debra Burgos

Chief Operating Officer

As Chief Operating Officer at Evergreen Apartment Group, Debra Burgos oversees the day to day operations of the company, working closely with the executive team and on-site teams to ensure operational and financial goals are met. Debra works closely with the President and CEO, Kevin Wolfgang, in establishing the operational standards, resource allocation and benchmark analysis to ensure operational excellence and to reach the financial goals as outlined in the strategic plan for the portfolio. Debra is responsible for evaluating and sourcing vendor and contractor partnerships. In addition, Debra is directly involved in all phases of acquisitions and growth opportunities.

Debra joined the company in 2015, in anticipation of another phase of growth that nearly doubled the size of the Evergreen portfolio with the acquisition of Christiana Reserve and Riverfront Heights in late spring of 2015. With over 17 years of multi-family management experience, Debra brought a wide range of experience in the daily operations of multi-family communities. She is actively involved at the site level with an emphasis on applying property management fundamentals and on building strong teams to execute exceptional management at each community in the portfolio. She leads the executive team’s efforts to create and update policy and procedure as well as assisting with the launch of new technology platforms to prepare for the company’s continued success and growth.

Debra received her degree in business administration from Wesley College in Dover, Delaware. She also holds a National Apartment Leasing Professional (NALP) designation from the National Apartment Association and a Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS & COSA) and Tax Credit Specialist (TCS) credentials from the National Center for Housing Management (NCHM). Debra is involved with the Delaware Apartment Association where she has previously served as the Chair of the Legislative Affairs Committee, Secretary and President of the board.
